OKUMA 40TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE REEL

To celebrate Okuma’s 40th Anniversary, we set out to create something that reflects the heart of every fishing experience: the water itself. Inspired by the ever changing colors of the ocean, this limited edition reel captures everything from the first light of day on the horizon to the deep blue expanse beyond. The spool design echoes the soft haze of morning sea fog, while the body reflects the rhythm and movement of rolling waves. Individually hand painted in house, no two reels are exactly alike.

More than a collector’s piece, this reel represents the connection anglers feel every time they step onto the water. It is a tribute to the places we fish, the memories we make, and the passion that brings us back again and again. Blending craftsmanship, creativity, and four decades of experience, this is a reel unlike anything Okuma has ever produced and a true celebration of the bond between anglers and the water.

Beneath its striking finish is the most advanced engineering Okuma has developed to date. Built with our patented TCA AL (Torsion Control Armor Aluminum) technology, the reel delivers more than five times the rigidity and strength of the previous C 40X TCA design. The aluminum TCA framework provides exceptional resistance to torsion and flex, maintaining stability and precision even when the pressure is at its highest.
