It has been about a decade since the birth of the "Blackstar" series suited for rockfishing (rockfish/light game style). Over these years, we have continuously developed jigheads and soft baits to enable a more strategic and logical approach to rockfishing.

Amidst this journey, in response to high demand from many anglers, we set out to develop a sinking pencil lure specifically designed for light lure fishing—and that product is finally complete. Its name is "Appetite".

Designed around the concept of targeting species far more efficiently and effectively than soft baits, its targets include marbled rockfish (Kasago) inhabiting rubble/gravel areas, large-bait-predating horse mackerel (Aji), and more.

In terms of movement, it features a subtle tight-wobbling action (weak wobble) and employs a fixed center-of-gravity system to improve posture and stability during the fall. It naturally entices target fish whether swimming or falling.

Furthermore, it comes equipped with a unique, ground-breaking feature that defies conventional lure design—the patented "Pivot Changer (PAT.)"—which drastically increases lure retrieval rates when snagged on the bottom.

Whether aggressively picking apart tight cover or firing confident casts into the dark, you can now effectively fish spots that were previously unreachable.
